Panel works is where the grid is most strictly enforced - and most precisely resisted. Felt, thread, abrasion, and stitching are submitted to tight structural systems: repetition, alignment, limited colour range. What accumulates is not image but surface - density, deviation, and the residue of duration. The panel holds all of this without resolving it.
