About the Work
structured around interruption, response, and internal resistance. The project holds the body not as narrative or metaphor but as a system that registers pressure, misrecognition, and deviation from equilibrium.
The work consists of three visual components - Tests, Lungs, and Blood [White] - and a sound element. Medical imaging, measured exchange, and recorded utterance operate as parallel procedures rather than illustrative material. The sound component introduces a repeated stopping condition, functioning as a structural limit that interrupts continuity.
The title marks a state in which protective mechanisms turn inward. This condition is maintained across the work through withholding and repetition rather than explanation. Relation is present as friction within a closed system, sustained through duration, constraint, and refusal of resolution.
