COMMISSIONS
Commissions are considered where a work can develop within the existing structures of the practice.
Each commission is approached as a continuation of the work’s ongoing concerns - material, spatial, and procedural - rather than a translation of external ideas into form.
Conditions
The work is determined through its own internal logic, including format, material, and method.
Dialogue may inform the process, but does not prescribe outcomes.
Pricing is structured as 50% on initiation and 50% upon completion.
Material and shipping costs are determined in relation to the work.
Not all enquiries will result in a commission.
Process
Commissions develop through a series of stages:
Initial exchange (including determination of scope and price)
Proposal (developed into a visual document tracing material decisions and process)
RealisationTiming and structure vary according to the work.
